Hi-Rez Studios Partners with FACEIT for the SPL Combine

The Challenger Circuit is a new path into the SMITE Pro League that we announced earlier this season and with it comes along the SMITE Pro League Combine. The Combine is a way for players to play into the Challenger Circuit twice a split and see if they have what it takes to make it to the Pro League.

We’re happy to announce that FACEIT will be facilitating the SMITE Pro League Combine for both Europe and North America!

Details:

The SMITE Pro League Combine is a series of open bracket tournaments that anybody can enter for a chance to win prizes and points to take steps towards advancing into the SMITE Pro League. The Combine runs for five weeks starting February 18th, 2017 and ending on April 2nd, 2017. There are a total of five weeks of open bracket tournaments and two weeks of relegations spread throughout the PC Combine.

Every Saturday for the next five weeks, teams will earn points based on their placement in the bracket each week. Each round of the bracket will be a Best of One with the finals being a Best of Three.

  • 1st Place – 100 points
  • 2nd Place – 60 points
  • 3rd Place – 40 points
  • 4th Place – 25 points
  • 5th – 8th Place – 10 points
  • 9th – 16th Place – 5 points
  • 17th or lower – 2 points

Relegations:

The top two teams with the most points from the SPL Combine will face off against the bottom two teams from the Challenger Circuit (run by Tiermonster) in Relegations.

Relegation dates are March 11th – March 12th and April 1st – April 2nd.
